The law firm is specialised in family and youth law as well as international family law. The firm is human and warm, dynamic and modern, available and attentive in order to meet your expectations and needs in the most appropriate way.

The name KINSIDE, which is made up of KIN and SIDE, symbolises the importance of being able to relay your reality and your own family experience in a supportive and confident way, while providing you with a detailed and thorough legal analysis of your story.

We advise and assist you with determination and passion, valuing trust, transparency and communication in all our client relationships.

We also attach particular importance to conciliation, mediation and the search for negotiated and balanced solutions. If legal proceedings are necessary, we ensure that your interests are rigorously defended.

Presentation of the team

Megan Daix

Megan Daix is co-founder of KINSIDE.

She is a member of the French-speaking Bar in Brussels since September 2015. She began her training as a lawyer in the office of Alain-Charles Van Gysel, who is also a professor of family law and property law at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB).

After joining the Dutch-speaking law firm Van Landuyt & Partners, an experience that brought her rigour and a deeper legal analysis of general civil law, she opened her own practice in 2020.

She is a member of the youth and family section of the Brussels Bar. In order to refine her experience in youth law, she followed the interdisciplinary certificate in children’s rights during the year 2021.

Simultaneously, she also worked as a lawyer for the “Planning familial – La Famille Heureuse” in Saint-Josse until June 2022.

Full of energy, Megan will be keen to represent you with determination.

Vanessa Kever

Vanessa Kever is co-founder of KINSIDE.

She completed her Master’s degree at the Université catholique de Louvain-La-Neuve (UCL) with an academic exchange at the Humboldt-Universität in Berlin. She furthered her studies at the London School of Economics (LLM). Thanks to her international academic background, she has extensive experience in European and international family law.

After starting her training with a leading law firm in Belgium, she joined the law firm Jodocy, where she was able to deepen her knowledge of international law, enabling her to handle the firm’s numerous cross-border cases with ease.

During 2018, she attended the master’s degree in notarial studies at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). In addition, she has already passed the magistrature exam.

Vanessa is warm and supportive and will accompany you with passion.

Lina Khelif

Lina Khelif is an associate of KINSIDE.

She obtained her Master’s degree in law at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) before going on to complete a Master’s degree (LL.M) in public international law. Her final thesis dealt with the repatriation of children of jihadists, a subject that was close to her heart.

During her studies, she also had the opportunity to participate in numerous university competitions, in particular the National Model United Nations (NMUN) in New York and the Pictet competition in Albania. She also completed a three-month internship at the Belgian Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya.

Before joining Kinside, she gained experience in family law with Mr. Jodocy.

Conscientious, Lina will lend you an attentive ear.

Audrey Robin

Audrey Robin is an associate at KINSIDE.

She completed her studies at the Université catholique de Louvain-La-Neuve (UCL), where she obtained a Master’s degree in Civil and Criminal law in January 2022.

After undertaking a four-month observation internship at UGKA law firm, she began her training there in February 2022, allowing her to develop skills in both family law and general civil law.

She joined the KINSIDE in March 2024, where she now primarily practices family law and juvenile law.

Dedicated, Audrey will assist you with kindness and determination.

Laura Paquay

Laura Paquay is Office Manager of the firm since December 2023.
Having obtained her Bachelor’s degree as a Management Assistant at ECSEDI in 2021 in Brussels, and after a year-long trip abroad and a two-year career in the recruitment and startup sectors, Laura turned towards office management.

Her diverse and multilingual background has enabled her to develop significant skills in human relations and client management.

Dynamic and cheerful, Laura will welcome you to the firm with a smile.
